Jesus “El Martillo” Gonzales Support for APECA’s efforts against sexual exploitation and abuse will be expressed during super middleweight fight in Montreal on February 18, 2012 at the Bell Centre.
He will be wearing the logo for Arizonans for the Protection of Exploited Children and Adults (APECA) on his belt as an expression of support for Natalie’s House. Over 100,000 cases of child sex abuse are reported each year in the United States. Around 300,000 children and youth are exploited in the sex trade.
APECA’s home for girls recovering from sexual trauma due to exploitation and abuse is scheduled to open this year. This home in Arizona, called Natalie’s House, will offer a safe haven for girls age 11-17 recovering from sexual trauma due to exploitation and abuse.
On February 18, 2012, Jesus “El Martillo” Gonzales will be fighting Adonis “Superman” Stevenson at the Bell Centre in Montreal for the IBF super middleweight intercontinental title and the #2 mandatory.
