Anthony Joshua has reiterated that he will continue boxing following his stoppage loss to Daniel Dubois this past weekend.
Joshua was brutally knocked out in five rounds by betting underdog Dubois in front of a packed Wembley Stadium, falling short in his bid to become a three-time heavyweight world champion.
After suffering his fourth professional loss and second inside the distance, there are some who believe ‘AJ’ should call time on his glittering professional career.
However, the 34-year-old expressed his desire to dust himself down and go again in the post-fight press conference in the late hours of Saturday night.
And in a video posted on social media today, Joshua reaffirmed that he will be going nowhere.
“We came up short, but we’ve got to look at the positives – that’s the mindset and that’s the perspective we have to have.
“Look at what we’ve achieved in the space of eleven years, it’s phenomenal – what a rollercoaster journey!
“But you know what the problem is? It’s far from over yet!
“We done it once, we done it twice. Doing it a third time hasn’t been easy, but I believe it’s something that I can achieve.
“It’s about making the right steps forward, working hard and improving.
“It can’t come from any external voices or influences, it’s got to come from in here.

“Keep your seatbelts tight, because I know I’ve got a lot more to bring to the game – long may to continue.”
Joshua’s promoter Eddie Hearn has claimed his man is contractually entitled to a rematch should he want it, which would mean he could jump straight back in with Dubois next.
If a second clash with ‘Dynamite’ does not come to fruition, match-ups with the likes of Dillian Whyte and Deontay Wilder have also been floated on social media.
