The rematch between Juan Manuel Lopez and Orlando Salido was better than anyone could have imagined, and expectations were already high. It’s a strong candidate for 2012 Fight of the Year, and Round 9 will be hard to best as 2012 Round of the Year as well. Garcia dominated Concepcion from start to finish until ending the bout in the middle rounds. Salido took control against JuanMa early, and maintained that control for much of the fight. Still, Lopez put Salido down in the 5th, and was making some headway in the 8th and 9th with his crisp power shots. Of course, Salido’s indomitable will simply proved too much, and he got the job done with a vicious knockout in the 10th.
