The proposed Zab Judah vs. Paulie Malignaggi clash has been made official for December 7 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. The two Brooklyn-born fighters will be sure to pack the house, and it should make for a great atmosphere.
The Judah vs. Malignaggi fight is also now the main event of this fight, which was originally supposed to be headlined by Devon Alexander vs. Amir Khan. However, that fight is now off the books, and Alexander’s looking at a November fight in San Antonio against Shawn Porter instead.
Despite the denials of team Khan, it looks like they are once again just biding their time for a fight against Floyd Mayweather.
Still, for Brooklyn fight fans, seeing two of their own battle it out in the ring, Judah and Malignaggi, should provide more than enough star power and intrigue. Also on the card will be another local fighter, hot prospect Marcus Browne, a 2012 US Olympian.
