Kieron Conway finds himself on the biggest stage this Saturday night as he faces late replacement Macaulay McGowan on the undercard to Anthony Joshua vs Kubrat Pulev.
During an international media call Conway shared with proboxing-fans.com the preparation for a last minute stand in and how he feels McGowan will play into his hands.
“Luckily, I believe, that I’m really adaptable. I can adapt quickly, so I have that on my side.
“Also, over the years, especially during camps, you have various different sparring partners. Over the amateurs and pros you’ve seen about everything by now at all types of different levels so that will help.
“You find out what you need to find out after the first punch, the first combination.”
Conway has found himself on the big stage after impressive performances which earned him a draw against Ted Cheeseman and beating Nav Mansouri during a Fight Camp show.
