Bad news for boxing fans, as Wladimir Klitschko must postpone his title bout with Kubrat Pulev. Klitschko tore his life biceps muscle during sparring, and he’s going to need a fair amount of time of recovery before he’ll be able to resume intensive training once again. Still, Klitschko’s promoters are hoping that the fight will be rescheduled before the end of 2014, in Hamburg.
Wladimir Klitschko will have to miss four weeks of training. “I am very disappointed the fight will not go ahead,” Wladimir Klitschko said.
“So far I have been in top shape and had a great training camp. I am sorry for my fans as well as my opponent Kubrat Pulev, who has surely prepared just as intensely.”
