Team Sergio Hires Crudele as Camp Coordinator
Fitness guru and reality television star Marcelo Crudele has been named new camp coordinator for WBC Diamond Middleweight Champion Sergio “Maravilla” Martinez.
Caracas, Venezuela-born Crudele, 40, is a cast member of the Univision reality show “Dale con Ganas”, a licensed USA Boxing coach and Founder and Executive Trainer of Train Me Right Boxing & Fitness in Venice, California.
Martinez is currently in training for a March 17 title defense against England’s Matthew Macklin at Madison Square Garden in New York.
“I welcome a professional like Marcelo, who will bring his expertise both as a camp coordinator and a top-notch fitness expert,” said Martinez’s advisor, Sampson Lewkowicz of Sampson Boxing. “Not only is he one of the top people in his field, but he is also a former boxer, so he knows exactly what is needed.”
