Mark Heffron has vowed to “blitz” Denzel Bentley and win their highly-anticipated rematch in emphatic fashion on Friday night, live on BT Sport 1.
Heffron and Bentley clash for the second time, following their unanimous draw eight weeks ago, with the vacant British middleweight crown on the line at BT Sport Studios.
And former British title challenger Heffron, who climbed off the canvas to rally back for a draw, has dismissed Bentley’s suggestion he would win the fight by stoppage and warned his rival that he’ll win the rematch convincingly.
“I’m going to be getting my hand raised, I’m going to win definitely, I’m going to smash him to pieces,” Heffron told proboxing-fans.com.
“How is it possible for him to stop me?
“I’m an honest man me, if I thought at any point in that last fight, if I thought he buzzed me or if I thought he was a big puncher, I’d say.
“The guy couldn’t crack an egg, he ain’t going to be stopping me.
“If anyone’s getting stopped its Denzel, one million per cent. I’m going to blitz him good and proper.”
