The second episode of Mayweather vs. Ortiz 24/7 aired Saturday night right before the Berto-Zaveck title fight. It took us right back into each man’s camp, as they continue preparation for their mega fight, which is now just two weeks away. Take a look at all of the action from Mayweather Ortiz 24 7 episode 2.

As we begin Mayweather-Ortiz 24/7 episode 2, we get a glimpse at what happened with last week’s episode. It was a familiar look inside Camp Mayweather, filled with more drama than you could even expect, 50 cent and the Flashy side of Floyd Mayweather, and more, while we got introduced to Ortiz, his brother and his background, and his much more humble and blue collar training routine.

Now the new action for Mayewather-Ortiz 24/7 episode 2 begins, and some 50 cent music plays in the background, and Mayweather, Mike Tyson and others are in hand to record a video that 50 is making. Mayweather and 50 cent are talking to each other on fake phones, which are just stacks of cash.

Mayweather just cashed in a huge bet he won on an NFL preseason game, and there’s just tons of cash lying around. 50 cent says to Mayweather, you crazy man, don’t be arguing with your daddy man. He actually talks some sense into Mayweather as they are joking with one another and talking on their cash phones.

Mayweather hasn’t talked to his dad since that blowout fight with one another, and he says he can care less, he’s more motivated than ever, and it won’t make a difference come September 17th. Mayweather’s fiance, 50 cent and the rest of the crew are on hand in the gym watching him train. He says that “Ortiz is petrified, shit!” He’s in a very joking mood, especially when 50 is around.

Now we switch to camp Ortiz and Ventura, California. He’s hanging out with his brother and he’s ready to get started on a day filled with media obligations. Ortiz says there is nothing that Mayweather can say to him, or try to say to him, that hasn’t already been said or done, so it’s literally liking talking to a tree, because nothing is getting through.

Ortiz and Oscar De La Hoya are filming their interview for Piers Morgan on CNN, and the two talk to one another. Oscar says that he doesn’t have to talk bad about anyone, just be himself. Ortiz answers a question about fear and says fear doesn’t exist for him, it’s not even in his dictionary. He goes into battle with nothing to worry about, not after his background.

Ortiz claims that when he was 9 years old, he said he was going to fight Mayweather, and “destroy him”, and he’d be the first guy to beat him. Who knows how much validity that has. We see Ortiz’s trainer, Danny Garcia, work on the jump rope with Ortiz, and well, that’s a funny sight.

At Camp Mayweather, we see that the guy that opens up the Mayweather Gym is none other than Cornelius Boza Edwards, former champ. He sort of runs the gym, looks after Roger Mayweather and his deteriorating health, and trains some fighters on his own too. Roger talks about his altercation with the female boxer, and he says that she cracked him on the head but “he had to learn the lesson”.

Edwards plays chauffeur to Roger, and they go to Quizno’s. And the guys trying to order is pretty hilarious, as they can’t understand one another basically, and Roger apparently wants to order tacos. Roger is on his way to anger management class. Edwards isn’t allowed inside, but he waits in the room for the full hour and a half and then drives Roger home.

Back to Ortiz’s camp with Mayweather vs. Ortiz 24-7 episode 2. Trainer Garcia talks about how to motivate his fighter, keep up the right pacing, getting his charge to do what he tells him to do, and more. De La Hoya is in camp today, and the news just broke about his admissions of cocaine usage, suicidal thoughts, the lingerie photos, and more.

De La Hoya pumps up Ortiz, saying that when your 34 and have been off for a year and a half, it’s a whole different ball game. He says Mayweather was fighting little guys like Hatton and Marquez, him, and he was done, Mosley, and he was done, and so forth. De La Hoya is saying you’re a 24 year old, powerful fighter, it’s a whole different game, and you should be the favorite. De La Hoya is doing a good job pumping him up.

Ortiz talks about how his mom said they could never get piercings or tattoos, and once his parents were gone for good, his brother got an earring. Ortiz used to have his name, Ortiz, tattooed on his back, but now he has a tribal tattoo which covers it up. He explains that a meeting with his father, his father said that it’s good to see his name on his back, and Ortiz didn’t take too kindly to that after their history, so he said to a friend, cover it up with some artwork or something, it doesn’t matter, just cover it up.

At the Mayweather Gym, it’s midnight, and everyone is called back to the gym because Floyd decides he wants to train. But everyone is there waiting for him and Floyd himself hasn’t arrived yet. Finally he shows up at 1 am and is ready to put in a workout, and he really does get in a hell of a training session for the hour, and he says he calls these “3 a days”.

90 minutes later at 2:30 am, Mayweather is done and he’s back to goofiness, and he sings a song about getting paid and how people buying PPVs to watch him lose won’t get their money back because it’s nonrefundable and on down the line. Some of his team members look on with bemused smirks.

We’re at the beach with Team Ortiz, but not to catch some sun, it’s an early morning training session here in episode 2 of Mayweather-Ortiz 24 7 episode 2. Danny Garcia explains how his house is right behind his brother Robert’s, and from their backgrounds they can see each other. But yet, they don’t talk to each other or have a relationship with one another, and the police were called for an altercation two weeks ago.

Ortiz and his brother find refuge in boxing, and they find Mayweather vexing. He says Mayweather displays “pure ignorance” with his antics, especially burning $100 bills. Ortiz talks about how that could be insight into Mayweather’s future in a few years, especially after he beats him. Ortiz says he’s 24 but he’s been through it all, and more than Mayweather.

Mayweather and 50 cent are lounging and joking about Ortiz. He says he’s old enough to be Ortiz’s father, so “he’s gonna son him.” Mayweather is on a late night run and is talking shit about his father, about De La Hoya’s drugs and lingerie, about Ortiz looking like a Victoria’s Secret model and on down the line. He continues ranting, say what you want, but I’m no cheater… no athlete works harder than me… I’m young, black and rich and that’s why people don’t like me… etc.

Now it’s video montage mode, and we’re in each camp as they work hard, as they joke around and laugh, as they push themselves and motivate themselves for the fight, and so forth. Both men are looking in great condition with the fight two weeks out.
