The episode begins with another crowded day at the Mayweather Boxing Club. Mayweather talks about making $25k for his first pro fight, and now being where he is today. Fans of all sorts are in attendance, including Don King.

Mayweather talks about how he feels like everyone talks about how he spends his money or flashes it, but he says… I didn’t rob anyone for it… the American dream is making a lot of money and taking care of your family. So who are we to judge or care, right?

Now, we’re off to Canelo’s camp, and he’s shooting a commercial for Under Armour. Canelo talks about fitting in those types of commitments with training and staying focused.

Of course, Mayweather knows all about staying busy and juggling multiple projects. Now, Mayweather is at the Magic Convention, promoting The Money Team and all of the merchandise they sell. They have some ladies along with them, and he puts on a show in the ring hitting the mitts with Uncle Roger to the delight of the crowd.

Back to Canelo, and his team is talking about sparring and preparation. They can’t find a fighter who thinks like Mayweather, but they can find quick fighters who can move like him in the ring. We see some footage of Canelo sparring and then talking about how he needs to fight intelligently, but plans don’t mean anything until you’re in the ring.

Canelo and company are now going off to Big Bear for the next month of intensive preparations. It’s a big change from where they’ve been, but it’s all about getting focused on the fight and his training, and getting physically and mentally ready for the challenge which lies ahead.

We’re at the Mayweather Boxing Club again, and the voice over talks about how the work really begins at the negotiating table. Mayweather talks about how the fight is at 152 lbs, but skill is what matters, not weight. Mayweather’s been in the division a few times, but Leonard Ellerbe talks on camera about how Canelo’s management mentioned publicly that they were willing to fight at a catch weight. So what should they do? They did it. Ellerbe calls Canelo’s team inept idiots.

Next we flash back to Mayweather’s fight against Robert Guerrero, and how he hurt his hand once again, with a severe contusion on his right hand. As a result, he couldn’t go for the knockout like he wanted to. So we’re at Floyd’s house and he’s doing some rehab work for his hand with a therapist, and hitting on the lady quite a bit as well.

Canelo is up in Big Bear, and we see him doing road work, and getting busy in the gym with various exercises. They are training at Shane Mosley’s facility and he stops by. They ask him to do some sparring, and he isn’t too eager to jump on that. Canelo’s team can’t get enough sparring partners, because it gets too rough on them and they end up leaving camp. Mosley lightens the mood when he shows up with his pet monkey, literally.

Mayweather couldn’t care less about what’s happening in Canelo’s camp, and the rumors about sparring partners and this and that. And why would he? Then we see a montage of him training as he talks about why he’s the best, what he’s been through, who he’s faced, how he’s the smartest. He says it’s not Canelo’s fault, he beat who was in front of him… they just weren’t that good. He says he can name 20 world champions who he’s beaten. Can Canelo name 10?

The Money Team is celebrating some success at their recent convention, and they’re popping bottles and having a party. But for Canelo’s team, it’s a bit more low key vibe, mainly watching fights, and playing video games. Then they watch the shocking Abner Mares vs. Jhonny Gonzalez fight, and they were just as surprised as everyone else. But that’s boxing, and they know that anything and everything can happen.

It’s media day at Canelo’s camp, and he’s inundated with press. Oscar De La Hoya talks about giving the blueprint to Canelo that he developed. Mayweather says that’s bullshit, and that there’s no blueprint if you didn’t win.

We’re just two weeks away from fight night. These guys are foaming at the mouth, ready to unload.
