Both men were able to make weight without issue. Mayweather came in 1 lb under the limit, but showed up on stage with a sweat broken out, so he was working hard right before he got on stage.
He was just chewing his gum pretty intensely, then the two guys squared off. They actually didn’t get into any verbal encounters, and neither did their fathers. Instead, they had a long stare down for about a minute or two, neither man backed down. Guerrero staring away confidently, Mayweather chewing that gum of his.
There was a packed house of 5,000 fans attending the weigh-ins, which was the limit they put on the event. So it was an excitable and fun atmosphere, and everyone was geared up for the fantastic fights to come our way on Saturday. Guerrero got a lot of cheers, but a lot of jeers as well from the mixed crowd. Mayweather received a louder mix of both as well.

Both guys were on weight, and looked strong and ready to go. Nothing crazy between these guys, they were professional, and all business. Mares has filled out into featherweight form without any issues. I’m certainly expecting this to be the fight of the night, can’t wait to see these two warriors go at it.
