Fighters Head Coast To Coast Beginning June 28 To Officially Announce Welterweight World Championship Showdown
Boxing superstar Floyd “Money” Mayweather and WBC Welterweight World Champion “Vicious” Victor Ortiz will hit the road to officially announce their Mexican Independence Day welterweight mega-fight taking place September 17. The tour will begin Tuesday, June 28, so please mark your calendars to see boxing’s biggest star and boxing’s brightest star in advance of their championship matchup.
On Tuesday, June 28th, Mayweather and Ortiz will appear in New York City at the Hudson Theatre in Times Square. The NYC press stop will be held at 12 noon, Eastern time. Then, the pair will travel across the continent to the west coast, and will appear in Los Angeles on Wednesday, June 29th. That evening at 8:00 pm the LA presser will kickoff at 8 pm Pacific time.
