Most observers believe Tyson Fury has it all to do in his rematch with Oleksandr Usyk – and former world champion, Barry McGuigan is writing him off completely.
Fury lost out via split decision to Usyk when the pair locked horns for the undisputed heavyweight world championship back in May, and McGuigan is predicting an even more conclusive result this time round.
Saudi Arabia will once again play host, with ‘The Gypsy King’ attempting to reverse the result over the Ukrainian on December 21st.
However, ‘The Clones Cyclone’ explained to Seconds Out why he believes Fury will “never” defeat Usyk.
The Irishman went on to say he believes Fury will actually get stopped second time around.
“Will he beat Usyk? Never, as far as I’m concerned.
“I don’t mean that in a nasty way, I’m just saying Usyk has his number.
“He was lucky to get through the fight. It could’ve been stopped. I don’t think he’s going to do any better.”

“not God and I can’t say who’s going to win fights, I’m only guessing as we all are.
“But my guess is that, judging on his performance last time, I don’t think he’s going to be any more effective against Usyk.
“I think Usyk this time will probably stop him.”

Fury’s training team – Dad John, Sugar Hill Steward and Andy Lee – came under criticism following the loss to Usyk, and many were surprised by the recent news they will remain in place for the rematch.
McGuigan, however, revealed that was the decision he was expecting.
“I would expect him to show loyalty to the corner, he’s had that corner for quite a while and he’s been successful, why would he change it?
“He’s done very well as a heavyweight champion. He’s been around a long time. He’s served the sport well. He’s earned a lot of money.”
Regardless of who’s in his corner, few would disagree that toppling Usyk will be the most difficult test of Fury’s illustrious and storied career.
