Saturday night at the Echo Arena in Liverpool, Tony Bellew and Nathan Cleverly each scored early stoppage wins to secure a rematch between the to British rivals. Then at light heavyweight, Cleverly defeated Bellew in their highly anticipated first match. Since, each man has moved to cruiserweight, and if anything, the fires between them are more intense and heated than ever.
Bellew scored a 5th round TKO over his opponent, and Cleverly scored a 4th round TKO, after scoring two knockdowns. With those fights officially out of the way, the path is cleared for Cleverly vs. Bellew II, and the two men nearly came to blows at the arena on Saturday already.Full Results
