Artemio “King” Reyes:
“I plan to put on a great performance. Go out there and show that I have improved over all since my last fight against Javier Molina. I have to constantly work on improving. There is always mistakes that are made and I plan on showing that I have improved. My plan of attack is to go into his body and wear him out. Ready for the long haul of a 10 round fight but if a knockout comes I’ll take it.
Victor Hugo Correa:
“I am mad at myself that I disappointed the promoter. I have been fighting a cold over the last week which stopped the last leg of my preparation. I have no excuses. I just want to do my best tomorrow and win.
Aron “El Asesino” Martinez:
“I’m going to put pressure on Johnson. I am expecting him to be fast. I sparred with quick type fighters at the Maywood Boxing Gym. He better be ready for me becasue I can Box and Brawl. For his sake he better not just expect me to be a brawler because I can box too. I’m not one dimensional. I have been keeping busy in the gym and haven’t had really any down time in terms of training so I am ready.”
Dashon Johnson:
“I know that Martinez has been a professional for a long time. His experience doesn’t mean much to me because I am younger, stronger and faster. I have got everything leaning my way for this fight. I am going to work his body towards the early and apply pressure to his body and in the later rounds I will take him out. I know he’ll have ring rust since he hasn’t fought since July. AlI together I am not worried and can handle Martinez because I have fought tougher people and have had better opposition on my resume.”
Efrain Esquivias:
“I am excited about tomorrow night and the fan support that has been building up but I am in control of my emotions. I look forward to hearing their cheers because it’s what pumps me up to work harder. I am expecting Landeros to keeps his guard up so I am going to put pressure and throw a lot of punches to his body. He is also going to try to catch me between shots but I can handle that with my speed. This is my first fight without Freddie Roach in my corner but I am not concerned because I hav Manny Robles who coached for Matadors. He trains similarly to Roach. My team and I have a lot of respect for Roach but he had to many fighters to train and with Manny I am #1 on his list. ”
“Landeros, be ready punches and bunches and many different angles.”
Adolfo Landeros:
“I am going to come out attacking and take advantage of the fact that he has no experience. I am going to draw upon my experience to get this win. I am expecting him to be a hard hitter but I can handle him because the quality of fighters that I have fought in the past have been world champion caliber and the quality of opponents that he has fought doesn’t match up to who I have faced in the ring.”
