It’s been 10 days since we got to see the rubber match between Manny Pacquiao and Juan Manuel Marquez. As a final wrap-up of the fight, check out these two videos of Pacquiao and trainer Freddie Roach at the post-fight press conference, where they share their thoughts on what went down in the ring.
Manny Pacquiao Video at the Post-Fight Presser
Pacquiao took his turn on stage following the fight, making his comments although he didn’t stay for too long. He appeared with a large bandage over his eye and a face that was fairly marked up. In Pacquiao’s eyes, he clearly won the fight and deserved the win, and what he did was enough.
Freddie Roach Video at the Post-Fight Presser
Pacquiao’s trainer Freddie Roach also took the mic at the post-fight presser and broke down some of what he thought happened in the third fight against Marquez. As he has said elsewhere, Roach believes that Marquez could have gotten the decision and he wouldn’t have been able to argue with that. Marquez deserves a fourth fight, but he’d rather Pacquiao move on, and he needs to fix some things in Manny’s game when facing these type of counterpuncher.
