Manny Pacquiao, Juan Manuel Marquez and their teams sat down with Max Kellerman to film the Pacquiao vs. Marquez Face Off HBO Boxing video. They have been doing the Face Off series for all of the recent big fights, but this one might be the most interesting. That’s because Kellerman didn’t just talk to Pacquiao and Marquez, he sat down with them, and trainers Freddie Roach and Nacho Beristain, and watched a replay of their first fight, allowing the fighters to comment on what was happening, what they were thinking about and more. Definitely a fun new angle on the HBO Boxing Face Off series with Kellerman. Marquez and Pacquiao both provide some insight into that first fight, how they were thinking at the time, what they were doing and why. Of course, both say they believe they won the first fight, and it’s just interesting to see from each fighter their reactions to how the bout was playing out and what they were going to do to win.
Both Pacquiao and Marquez have a lot of respect for one another, but you can see that for Pacquiao, things can be a bit more lighthearted, since he has a win on his record against Marquez already. For Marquez, he feels he’s been spurned twice, and he’s ready to tell the world that once again he’s going to make it a war and bring it all to take out Manny Pacquiao.
