Jake Paul has not been afraid to call out boxing’s biggest names, but there is one man he says he’ll never fight.
Paul, the YouTube sensation-turned-boxer, was on the verge of securing a May clash with four-weight world champion, Canelo Alvarez and reportedly held talks over an exhibition with lightweight champion, Gervonta Davis, both of which did not materialise.
However, ‘The Problem Child’ admits he would not entertain a showdown with former super middleweight champion and current WBA ‘regular’ and WBC interim light heavyweight titlist, David Benavidez.
Speaking on his podcast BS w/ Jake Paul, the 28-year-old said: “I literally tell my manager.
“He’s talking about all these potential fights and I’m like telling him, ‘yes, no.’

“And the only no is you [Benavidez].
“I will not fight this f***ing guy.

“Hes a f***ing monster bro.
“I’m just going to f***ing die bro.
“I know my boundaries.”

Benavidez, nicknamed ‘The Mexican Monster’ has 24 knockouts from his 30 professional victories and most recently defeated David Morrell in February, to put him in line for a shot at undisputed champion, Dmitry Bivol.
Paul though, who broke records with his showdown with heavyweight icon, Mike Tyson, 58, in November called for a sensational clash with former two-time heavyweight titlist, Anthony Joshua.
Joshua, who is currently out with an injury and has not fought since losing to Daniel Dubois in September, appeared to accept Paul’s callout, posting a photo on his Instagram story of a phone call with the Ohio man, with a cryptic caption which read ‘2026.’

“I want to fight Anthony Joshua,” Paul explained.
“Because I know I will f***ing beat Anthony Joshua’s a**.
“He doesn’t have a chin and he has no skill and he’s stiff.
“I love you Anthony. We’re friends all this s***, but I want to fight you.”
