Jake Paul warmed up for a November clash with Mike Tyson, as he knocked out former MMA fighter Mike Perry in the sixth round at the Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida.
Paul (10-1, 7 KOs), who was due to face Tyson in a barely-believable contest, was last seen in February, scoring a one round stoppage win against Ryan Bourland. Perry (0-2) came into this one as a former UFC and bare-knuckle competitor, but his only boxing contest saw him knocked out in four rounds by Kenneth McNeil in 2015.
Within 40 seconds, Perry was on the deck, with a short shot leaving him off balance.
The 32-year-old was down again a round later, but he was spirited in giving as good as he got in round three.
Paul regrouped and wrested back control, and the end came in the sixth, with a left hook followed by a volley of blows leaving ‘Platinum’ tottering and then falling to the canvas. With his legs unsteady, the referee had seen enough.

‘The Problem Child’ called out UFC fighter Alex Pereira, as well as Mike Tyson, who he is set to face on November 15 at AT&T Stadium in Texas.
Serrano eases past Morgan
Another waiting on a November date was Amanda Serrano and she ticked over waiting for Katie Taylor for the undisputed super lightweight title by halting Stevie Morgan, in the second round of a scheduled ten.
A vicious, two-fisted assault got the job done for Serrano (47-2-1, 31 KOs), as Morgan (14-2, 13 KOs) ate several unanswered punches before the referee jumped in.
