Undefeated Jessie Vargas and trainer/legendary champion Erik Morales held a work out and media session at Fortunes Boxing Gym Wednesday. Vargas is readying for his fight against former two-division world champion and highly-rated pound for pound fighter Timothy “Desert Storm” Bradley Jr. , Saturday, June 27, at StubHub Center in Carson, Calif.
Vargas and Morales are a new connection, and not the first big-name fighter with whom Vargas has been linked. He was previously, and in a very high profile fashion, working with Roy Jones Jr. It’s still unclear what happened there and how it went down, but Vargas and El Terrible are now hooked up.
Meanwhile, a brash and confident Bradley has touched down in Los Angeles and is ready for action.
