Updated Boxing Top 20 Pound for Pound List:
After a three month hiatus from looking out our top pound for pound boxers list, we’ve gone back to the drawing boards following all of the great action of the past months. In the last few weeks we’ve seen Manny Pacquiao dominate Antonio Margarito, Juan Manuel Lopez assert his presence against Rafael Marquez, and much more. So what do the pound for pound rankings look like now?

While the Pacquiao vs. Margarito results are the latest piece of news to affect the standings, it certainly wasn’t the biggest factor or the only thing at stake (I bet ya Manny is still ranked #1….). But plenty more has been taking place over the past few months.
One notable thing was the win we got to enjoy in the JuanMa Lopez vs. Rafael Marquez bout. Lopez is now included in our top pound for pound rankings for the first time, but how high does he go? Additionally, we’ve downgraded some inactive, or under-performing, list members, like Chris John and Chad Dawson, while rewarding some young guns on the rise, like Timothy Bradley and Devon Alexander. You’ll have to peek at the list for yourself to see how it all shakes out.
With the Pacquiao vs. Margarito results out of the way, there is still plenty more boxing action on the agenda over the next month. We’ll see Paul Williams vs. Sergio Martinez, Carl Froch vs. Arthur Abraham, the Showtime bantamweight tournament, Amir Khan vs. Marcos Maidana, Bernard Hopkins vs. Jean Pascal, and more.
That means that even more big shakeups will be in the works for the official ProBoxing-Fans.com pound for pound list. Check it out and share your thoughts on the top pound for pound boxers in the world!
