It’s time once again for our latest update to the top pound for pound boxer’s list! It’s always a fun day when we get to update our pound for pound rankings, and there’s a fair amount of shakeup in our list right now. Take a look!
First, we bid a fond farewell to all-time legend Bernard Hopkins, after his loss to Sergey Kovalev, as well as Nonito Donaire, after his loss to Nicholas Walters. Both guys have been bumped from the top 20.
Meanwhile, Kovalev is one of the big risers, along with another of the sport’s hardest hitters and most exciting fighters, Gennady Golovkin. Three new entrants on the list include Terence Crawford and Vasyl Lomachenko, and Canelo Alvarez makes a reappearance in the top 20 as well.
So as mentioned, plenty of shakeup in the pound for pound rankings. And we haven’t even gotten into the return of Manny Pacquiao, Wladimir Klitschko’s latest win, and all of the rest of the latest boxing action.
