Trump Taj Mahal Casino Resort, in association with Dee Lee Promotions Inc. presents The Fall Brawl at Trump Taj Mahal. Prince Badi ‘Boxing Prince’ Ajamu (27-3-1/4 ko’s) defends his National Boxing Association Light Heavyweight Title against Daniel Judah (23-4-3/10 ko’s) on Friday, November 20, 2009 in the Grand Ballroom at the Trump Taj Mahal, Atlantic City, NJ. First bout is at 8:00 pm with doors opening one hour prior.
NBA Light Heavyweight Champion Prince ‘Boxing Prince’ Ajamu (27-3-1/4 ko’s) Camden, NJ vs Daniel Judah (23-4-3/10 ko’s) Brooklyn, NY will defend his belt in a 12 round NBA Light Heavyweight Championship bout. Ajamu, the reigning NBA Light Heavyweight Champ was originally scheduled to defend his crown against Otis Griffin of Sacramento, CA but Griffin withdrew for undisclosed reasons and Judah was quick to step in to take the title shot. Judah, one of the fighting Judah brothers, is a former IBF International Light Heavyweight Champion and has fought some of the best light heavies in the business including Glen Johnson and Yusaf Mack so Camden’s ‘Boxing Prince’ better pack his lunchpail and come to work if he wants to take his belt back home!
Wildwood sensation Chuck ‘The Professor’ Mussachio (13-1-2/5 ko’s) is scheduled to take on Bayonne’s tough guy Bobby Rooney (11-2-1/6 ko’s) in the 8 round co-main event and it’s shaping up like a Jersey Slug Fest. Also, featuring Jersey City’s Patrick Farrell (4-0-0/3 ko’s) and Delaware’s tough guy Mike Tiberi (10-1-0/5 ko’s).
On this fight card the hits just keep on coming! Light-Heavyweight Pat Perez (25-7-0/14 ko’s) take on Montgomery, Alabama’s John Mackey (11-4-2/5 ko’s) in a scheduled 6 round bout. Mackey, a southpaw, is fighting for the 4th time in 2009 including a majority decision loss to Camden’s Derrick Ennis. Also, local fight fans that have been getting spoiled watching Eugenio Soto, Joel DeLaPaz, Lavarn Harvell and Gabriel ‘Gabby’ Pham take on all comers are in for another treat as all four will also be featured on this card. These fighters aren’t afraid to mix it up so, do plan to come to enjoy the action.
