The boxing schedule for 2014 has finally been picking up, and last weekend there was a huge range of fights across the networks.
We saw Lamont Peterson return to form with a big win over Dierry Jean, and Jermell Charlo put on the best showing of his career against Gabriel Rosado. Bryant Jennings had a successful major network debut with a win over Artur Szpilka, and Mikey Garcia pitched a near shutout against the tough Juan Carlos Burgos.
All of this and it was only the beginning of all the action which fans have been treated to over the past few weeks!
Right here, we have updated the top 10 divisional rankings for a handful of different weight classes. Dive in and take a look:
[checklist]
Clearly, there’s been a ton of different action and loads of important results to sort through over the past few weeks! How high do the winners climb, and where do some of the losers go from here?
The top 10 rankings in the heavyweight division are also really interesting, because for the first time in who knows how long, there isn’t a 1-2 of the Klitschko brothers, due to Vitali’s retirement. David Haye is also absent, due to his on again, semi-retirement, or whatever it is.
So be sure to go through each division and see where everyone currently stands, and feel free to chime in with your own thoughts on our top 10 divisional boxing rankings updates.
