Top Rank held a card Saturday night, televised on UniMas for Solo Boxeo Tecate, at the Pharr Events Center in Pharr, Texas. The card featured big-name fighters such as Chris Avalos and Diego Magdaleno, and several other notables. Check out the results and photos here.
Chris Avalos stopped Jose Cen Torres in the 5th round to continue storming towards potential title shots against big-name opponents.
Lightweight contender Diego Magdaleno of Las Vegas ,NV stopped Heivinson Herrera in the 3rd round.
Brad Solomon won an 8 round unanimous decision over Eduardo Flores to remain undefeated (24-0). Solomon has been an under the radar guy but it’ll be interesting to see if he can get into the busy welterweight mix.
Egor Mekhontsev stopped Jinner Guerrero in the 2nd round.
None of the bigger names were in against tough opponents, but all of them did what they needed to do.
