HBO Boxing Results – Crawford vs. Postol:
Terence Crawford dominated Viktor Postol on Saturday night in the main event of their HBO pay-per-view event from Las Vegas. Crawford won a one-sided decision against Postol, proving himself to be, yet again, in another class over his opposition.
Final scorecards read 118-107, 118-107 and 117-108, indicating the dominant showing that Crawford offered, and perhaps giving Postol even a friendly round here or there.
Yet, the bout didn’t always offer scintillating action. Postol was left a step behind, and Crawford was mostly content to pick away at him, rather than showcase some of his more signature aggression and attacking. Nonetheless, a strong performance from Bud, and hopefully we’ll get to see him in more big fights soon.
On the undercard, Oscar Valdez scored a quick 2nd round stoppage, Jose Benavidez won a wide decision, and Oleksandr Gvozdyk won via a mid-round stoppage.
