The final press conference was held this afternoon at Madison Square Garden in advance of Saturday night’s HBO card, headlined by Roman Martinez vs. Vasyl Lomachenko.

Also appearing on the televised card is Felix Verdejo, fighting on the eve of the Puerto Rican Day parade in new York City, and in that, taking on a role that was formerly Miguel Cotto’s.
Martinez vs. Lomachenko, along with the Verdejo fight, take place in the Theater and not the big room, but nevertheless it should be an exciting event.
Also appearing on the undercard is the Freddie Roach-trained Zou Shiming.
Today at the press conference, the fighters near unanimously expressed their admiration of Muhammad Ali, with several dedicating their fights and performances to him.
