On September 21st Ronald Cruz of Bethlehem, PA, 17-0, 12 KO’s, will challenge Miami’s Antwone Smith, 21-4-1, 12 KO’s for the WBC Continental Americas Welterweight Title. In preparation for that battle Cruz hosted a media workout on Tuesday in his hometown of Bethlehem, PA, and here you can find a collection of quotes and photos.
The fight will be part of the NBC Sports Network Fight Night broadcast, beginning 9PM ET on the 21st. The Cruz-Smith fight is part of a seven-bout card at the Sands Casino Resort Bethlehem that also includes a 12 round IBF Junior Middleweight eliminator between Gabriel Rosado and Charles Whittaker and a 10 round Light Heavyweight matchup pitting Sergey Kovalev against Lionell Thompson.
