Boxing Hall of Famer Sugar Ray Leonard visited ESPN’s Bristol, Conn., campus today for an ESPN Car Wash, appearing on several ESPN shows, including SportsCenter to discuss the much anticipated May 2 Floyd Mayweather Jr.-Manny Pacquiao mega-fight and more.
In the photo here, you see ESPN’s Jay Crawford and Chris McKendry with Sugar Ray Leonard on the set of SportsCenter.
Sugar Ray Leonard hasn’t always been the biggest Floyd Mayweather fan, although he’s acknowledged his skill and accomplishments. Still, in this case, he certainly has to be siding with Mayweather, a fighter molded in his fashion, as opposed to Pacquiao. It’s Mayweather who has the slick skill, Mayweather who has been playing more of the games, Mayweather who’s more in the limelight.
All things that SRL can appreciate. Tune into SportsCenter to see Leonard discuss the the fight and as always keep checking back for more Mayweather vs. Pacquiao news and updates.
