Welterweight super prospect, Thomas Dulorme (11-0, 10 KO’s), and hard-hitting 140-pound knockout artist Kenny “Battlestar” Galarza (14-1, 14 KO’s) are sparring and training together in preparation for their respective ESPN-televised Boricua Invasion I fights at the Roseland Ballroom in New York City on Friday, June 10.

Dulorme, Galarza and several other members of Team Puerto Rico will be appearing in blockbuster back-to-back boxing events at the Roseland on June 10 and 11, entitled Boricua Invasion I & II.

Galarza, of Juana Diaz, Puerto Rico, will face compatriot, Irving Garcia (17-6-3, 8 KO’s) in the main event, while Dulorme will face former world champion DeMarcus Corley (37-17-1, 22 KOs) in one of the televised supporting bouts.

“Kenny is of great help to my training. He is a strong fighter who can fight left- and right-handed. I am grateful that he’s decided to help me train for my fight,” said Dulorme.

“There is strength in numbers. We are part of Team Puerto Rico and as part of this team, we should help each other achieve our goals. Dulorme is a strong fighter and very quick and he will help me a lot in my preparation for my fight with Garcia,” said Galarza.

Both fighters are represented by Universal Promotions, Gary Shaw Productions and DiBella Entertainment.

Saturday’s Boricua Invasion II will feature four more members of Team Puerto Rico: featherweight Luis “Orlandito” Del Valle (12-0, 10 KOs); junior middleweight Jonathan “Mantequilla Gonzalez (12-0, 12 KOs); light welterweight Hector “El Flaco” Sanchez (19-1, 9 KOs); and light welterweight Jorge “Machito” Maysonet Jr. (3-0, 2 KOs); plus a special off-TV appearance by Puerto Rico-born light welterweight Gabriel “Tito” Bracero (15-0, 1 KO) of Brooklyn. The main bouts of Boricua Invasion II will be broadcast live on Showtime: The New Generation.
