The sassy bilingual DEPORTadas journalists will travel across Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles and Las Vegas to challenge individuals at select soccer games and boxing matches throughout the summer. Sports fans 21 and older will have to demonstrate they are real hombres by participating in a variety of challenges
“We are eager to find the men who have what it takes to be called an hombre, through our ‘Are You Hombre Enough?’ challenge,” said Ingrid Otero, Director of Programming of Terra in the United States. “The journalists DEPORTadas featured by Terra will lead the quest to find the boldest men, giving all participants the chance to win big.”
Photos and videos of the participants’ responses to the challenge will be showcased on www.terra.com/tecate_challenge
Individuals 21 and older can also demonstrate that they’ve got the wit, boldness and carácter to drink Tecate and Tecate Light through the “Are You Hombre Enough?” app developed by MSN for the beer brand’s Facebook page, www.Facebook.com/Tecate. Fans of the page are encouraged to quickly answer a series of questions designed to test their hombre-hood, including “Your girlfriend asks you to hold her purse. What should you do?” and “What should you do when your girlfriend asks you to wear matching outfits?” At the end of each quiz, consumers receive their “Hombre Score” and can challenge their Facebook friends to try to beat it. The questions are refreshed every two weeks, so participants can continue to play and improve their ultimate score for a chance to win up to $3,000 in cash and gift certificates.
