This is definitely an intriguing fight with a lot on the line for each man, and it will be good to see both facing a stern challenge. Still, Gamboa vs. Crawford is NOT for out lightweight championship. Crawford, ranked number 2 in the division, and Gamboa, ranked number 8 after another long layoff, don’t have the combined ranking required for us to declare this a championship fight. Now, if the winner took on Miguel Vazquez, we’d be all set!
