Greg Cohen Promotions proudly announces the signing of a co-promotional agreement, along with Dmitriy Salita’s Star of David Promotions, of multi combat-sport star and heavyweight boxing KO artist Jarrell “Big Baby” Miller (10-0-1, 9 KOs).
26-year-old Miller, who stands 6 ft. 4 in and weighs in at 260 lbs., is a native of Brooklyn, New York. He is of Caribbean and Latin American heritage and trains at Gleason’s and GYMU Gyms with trainers Harry Keitt and Kelly Richardson.
After a short amateur career, Miller turned to the pro boxing ranks. He has worked as chief sparring partner for both Wladimir and Vitali Klitschko. In pro kickboxing, which Miller started at the tender age of 18, he was 21-2, (9 KOs), including an upset victory over American Kick Boxing Star Pat Berry. His only two losses were controversial ones to Kickboxing legend Mirko Cro-Cop, one of them in the quarter finals of the 2012 K-1 World Grand Prix.
“Jarrell is the most naturally gifted fighting machine in the world. There is nothing he can’t do extremely well. He’s a future star in the heavyweight division,” said an absolutely pumped Greg Cohen. “This is a huge coup for my company. I’m very excited about it and about Jarrell’s prospects in boxing. Who doesn’t love a guy who can punch a hole in a tank?”
Cohen also says he’s happy to be working with a man he knows and respects, his co-promotional partner and former world title challenger, Dmitriy Salita and Star of David Promotions. “Dmitriy has a very sharp mind for boxing and is an extremely easy man to work with. I look forward to mapping out Jarrell’s road to the world championship with him.”
Salita is equally excited about the partnership. “Greg has guided the career of many outstanding heavyweight prospects to world titles and stardom. We will do great things together with Jarrell, whom I have known since he was 16 years old. Jarrell has all the tools to be a real star in the heavyweight division and I am excited to work with Greg Cohen and his company.”
Cohen says after 11 pro fights, Miller has already turned heads and made tremendous improvements.
“He’s something the heavyweight division needs badly. Jarrell is fearless, he’s got an exciting and aggressive style and he’s got one-punch power. He’s advancing rapidly because of his tremendous natural abilities and his work ethic and dedication.”
