Vasyl Lomachenko is ready to make his pro debut on the undercard of the Timothy Bradley vs. Juan Manuel Marquez pay-per-view on October 12. This isn’t your run of the mill professional debut, however, as Lomachenko is lined up against a respected 25-3 contender in his first outing.

In a highly unusual move, featherweight Vasyl “The Great” Lomachenko will make his Pro Debut on Oct. 12 on the Bradley-Marquez card in Las Vegas in a 10-round fight against Jose Ramirez (25-3, 15 KOs), of Mexicali.
It’s one of the most difficult first pro assignments for a fighter in modern history, showing a true throwback flair for Lomachenko, who’s ready to compete with the top of the professional boxing world after his long and highly successful amateur career.
