2004 U.S. Olympian Vicente “Chente” Escobedo and 2000 Olympic Silver Medalist Rocky Juarez will host a press conference to announce their 10-round junior lightweight bout set for September 23 at Fantasy Springs Resort Casino in Indio, Calif. The press conference is open to the public and will take place on Monday, August 29th, making the Escobedo vs. Juarez bout official.
It’s an exciting contest for a Solo Boxeo card and main event, and it will pit these two fighters against one another, with one moving back up the ladder and one moving farther down the heap.
Escobedo is 23-3 with 14 KOs, and fights out of Rancho Cucamonga, California. Juarez is 28-8-1 with 20 KOs, and fights out of Houston, Texas.
