Al Bernstein is back with another in-depth look at a high profile match. This time, he offers his analysis and keys to victory for Jean Pascal vs. Lucian Bute. For Jean Pascal (28-2-1, 17 KOs), Bernstein believes that he needs to stay active and avoid lulls, he should work the body and slow Bute down, and he needs to stay strong without the fight, and avoid fading down the stretch.
Meanwhile, Bernstein believes that Lucian Bute (31-1-0, 24 KOs) can pick up the win if he works behind the jab from that southpaw stance, and use plenty of lateral movement to not only set up his own offense, but avoid the big punches of Pascal. Finally, Bute needs to avoid wild attacks, and stay within his game plan as opposed to opening up and swinging for the fences.
