He was in the running to face Floyd Mayweather, but lost out to Marcos Maidana. Now he’s fighting on the Mayweather-Maidana undercard against Luis Collazo. A win there could potentially propel him to bigger fights in the future, assuming of course he can come away with a win and look impressive.
In the interview here, Khan definitely seems in good spirits and he’s just happy to have a fight definitively lined up in his future. He’s eager to get in the ring and pick up a win against a difficult, tough fighter, and to simply get back in action once again after such a long layoff and so much stopping and starting.
