Middleweight champ Gennady “GGG” Golovkin, (35-0, 32 KO’s) defends his title against undefeated British boxing star and welterweight titleholder Kell Brook, (36-0, 25 KO’s) live Saturday, September 10 at 5:30PM on HBO.

That fight will be shown at 10pm, live from Los Angeles. Chocolatito is moving up yet again to another weight division to take on a talented titleholder, so that’s an interesting challenge there.
As for Golovkin vs. Brook, it follows the precedent set by Canelo Alvarez — you know, being a middleweight titlist, and defending it against a big name British welterweight moving up two weight divisions. It’s unfortunate, but at least with GGG he should put on a good show. Hopefully it all leads to Golovkin vs. Alvarez sooner than later, but the fight should have happened already in place of bouts such as those.
