The nearly 50 year old Hopkins is still looking to make more history and add even more achievements to his legacy. Kovalev is looking to establish not only as one of the hardest hitters in the game, but one of the sport’s top fighters. So it’s a very important and intriguing fight, and it’s a huge clash of styles and personalities.
So why does Hopkins think he can do it? Because he’s The Alien. He’s not human and not bound by those rules. That’s what he says at the press conference. And for Kovalev, his strategy is Ivan Drago simple – Krush him.
