Manny Pacquiao held his media workout session last week, and the reports have been coming in nonstop since that he’s been looking in excellent shape. He’s super motivated and eager to get into the ring with Marquez once again, and to get the decisive victory he’s been seeking over his rival. Below, you’ll find a series of video clips including separate interviews with Pacquiao, Bob Arum and trainer Freddie Roach, all of which have been conducted by Top Rank’s lovely Crystina Poncher.
Pacquiao Video Interview
Pacquiao says he’s 97% ready for the fight, and with almost two weeks left to go, he should be phenomenal by fight night. Of course, one would have to hope he doesn’t peak too early or overtrain. Pacquiao is taking the fight personally and he’s ready go go.
Freddie Roach Video Interview
Roach’s interview here is the longest, and this clip is almost six minutes in length. Roach talks about how training has been going and how they’ve been picking up sparring and more, as well as how he expects the fight to play out and what Manny needs to do to get the critics off his back. A funny moment comes when Roach can’t remember the name of one of Manny’s young sparring partners and has to go asking people about it.
