Al Bernstein is back with his latest fight preview, this time taking a look at Zab Judah vs. Paulie Malignaggi, the Battle in Brooklyn, taking place this Saturday night on Showtime. Bernstein offers his Judah vs. Malignaggi keys to victory in this special video preview, and he always offers some great insight and analysis. Take a look.
Bernstein talks about how Judah is coming off the loss to Danny Garcia, but he put on a game effort in that fight. Like Judah, Malignaggi is a two-division titleholder, and he’s also coming off a loss. Malignaggi lost a decision to Adrien Broner, but performed better than many thought he would in that match.
When the two met square off with Brooklyn bragging rights on the line, what can we expect to see?
Bernstein believes Malignaggi needs to stay busy and throw combinations, avoid Judah’s straight left hand, and counter with a left hook.
For Judah, he needs to establish his jab, he needs to land that big straight left which Malignaggi wants to avoid, and he needs to work hard and stay focused, and not let Malignaggi simply outwork or out-hustle him.
Stay tuned for more Judah vs. Malignaggi fight week updates over the next few days.
