Amir Khan takes on Devon Alexander in one of many great fights this weekend. Khan vs. Alexander may be the best fight of them all though, and right here, you’ll get some analysis of the action from Al Bernstein. Check out Bernstein’s Khan vs. Alexander video preview and his keys to victory.
As always, Bernstein shares his thoughts on the upcoming fight, along with some background on the match, and the individual fighters. Then he breaks down what each man has to do to win the fight.
For Khan, he needs to establish his jab. He needs to throw combinations and also move away quickly, to avoid counter shots and to protect his chin. Then, he needs to land his big weapon, which is his straight right hand.
Alexander has to be patient in terms of not rushing and going for a one-punch KO. But he can’t just sit back, he has to make Khan engage. Then, Alexander needs to land his right hook, which is his big shot. Bernstein says to double it up to the body and head.
