Manny Pacquiao is back in training in the Philippines, as he preps for his comeback bout. He faces Jessie Vargas in November.
Right here, we have a special video feature taking a look at Pacquiao and his relationship with trainer Freddie Roach. The duo have been together for more than 15 years together, and what a wild ride and successful journey it’s been.
Roach is talking about how great Pacquiao is looking in camp — although he always says that. Meanwhile, Pacquiao has been sparring with unbeaten Jose Ramirez in camp, so he has a hungry, unbeaten and young fighter to go up against in camp.
That’s the right kind of sparring partner to prepare to face the young and hungry Vargas.
Pacquiao will have two more weeks of training in the Philippines. Then, he’ll get a needed break from his senatorial duties in his home country, and will travel to the United States to wrap up his final two weeks of training from there.
Pacquiao vs. Vargas is slated for November 5th on PPV.
