This Saturday, heavyweights Dereck Chisora and Malik Scott meet in an important showdown which will see one man jumping into contention and another sliding down the totem pole. Chisora has fought just once since his defeat to David Haye last summer, the third of three straight defeats, although his loss to Robert Helenius was highly suspect. Malik Scott knows about suspect decisions. The undefeated fighter had to settle for a draw in his last fight against Vyacheslav Glazkov, after putting on what most thought was a dominant effort.
After a four year break in his career, this is now the fifth fight for Scott since the start of 2012. He wants to show he’s a world class boxer and a threat in the division, but he’ll need to get past the always tough Del Boy to do so.
