Gennady Golovkin vs. Curtis Stevens takes place this weekend at Madison Square Garden in New York City, in a fight televised live on HBO. Right here, Al Bernstein shares his thoughts on the Golovkin vs. Stevens fight, offering a special video preview, and his always dead-on keys to victory.
It’s no secret that both Golovkin and Stevens are power-punchers. According to Bernstein, Stevens really going to need to use some head movement and footwork so he doesn’t get lit up by Golovkin. He may be able to land his left hook, but he’s going to need to do it early on to try to gain some traction in the fight.
Golovkin basically has to do more of what he always does. He doesn’t need to rush anything or take unnecessary risks. He just needs to go about his business and break his man down, as he usually does.
Enjoy the Golovkin vs. Stevens video preview, analysis and keys to victory from Bernstein. It’s always great to see him offer his take on what should be a fun fight like this one. Keep on checking back with us for more updates all throughout fight week.
