This Saturday, April 27, CBS will air a special documentary film simply entitled Mayweather. It takes a look at the life of Floyd Mayweather, and gives boxing’s number 1 moneymaker a showcase on network television, in primetime. LL Cool J narrates the special, which will also include his new track, along with Eddie Van Halen. Take a look at a video preview of the Mayweather documentary here.

Watch a clip from the primetime special film “MAYWEATHER” before it premieres on Sat. April 27 at 8p on CBS. LL Cool J narrates the film and this clip features the debut of the music icon’s new song with guitar God Eddie Van Halen “We’re The Greatest” from his upcoming album AUTHENTIC.
I think it’s a pretty great opportunity for Mayweather, and for this fight against Robert Guerrero, to be shown on CBS on primetime here. It’ll be interesting to see though how this differs from the 30 Days in May documentary from Showtime, and the ongoing All Access series.
We also see that other stars such as Kobe Bryant get interviewed on camera about Mayweather.
