On Saturday night, October 26, Bernard Hopkins defends his light heavyweight title against Karo Murat, and looks to extend his record as the oldest champion in boxing history. Hopkins vs. Murat will take place in Atlantic City, and will be broadcast on Showtime.
Right here, you can check out a Hopkins vs. Murat fight preview video from Showtime, also featuring the other two fights on the tripleheader, Peter Quillin defending his middleweight strap against Gabriel Rosado, and undefeated knockout sensation Deontay Wilder going up against the Wildly overmatched Nicolai Firtha.
Here’s the official description of the video and the event from Showtime:
Bernard Hopkins steps in the ring with Karo Murat with the Light Heavyweight World Championship on the line. Plus, Peter “Kid Chocolate” Quillin takes on Gabriel Rosado for the Middleweight World Championship. Live from Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City.
The best fight on the card is Quillin vs. Rosado, otherwise, Wilder is in yet another mismatch, and Murat isn’t exactly a big name fighter or a top contender in the division.
