Former four-division champion Roy Jones Jr. visited ESPN’s Bristol, Conn., campus today for an ESPN Car Wash, appearing on several ESPN shows, including ESPN2’s First Take, and SportsCenter to discuss the much anticipated May 2 fight between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao.
While rumors have swirled today that Mayweather vs. Pacquiao is cancelled, Jones nonetheless talked about his match-up and shared his thoughts. Jones, the former pound for pound kingpin, knows something about fighting at the top of the sport, even as he continues to toil away a decade past when he should have hung up the gloves for good.
