Wladimir Klitschko vs. Francesco Pianeta
May 4, 2013 – SAP Arena Mannheim (Germany)
“He’s powerful, young and hungry, so I’m going to face a real great challenge,” says Klitschko in regards to his opponent. He’s certainly working hard to ensure that his fans look at Pianeta as a worthy opponent. Of course, he’s an entirely fresh face and unheralded name in the division, so this is nothing more than a placeholder type of event.
Klitschko will be getting started with his training camp shortly, and this is the first full camp that he’ll have completely without longtime trainer, friend and mentor, Emmanuel Steward. Steward had passed while Klitschko was preparing for his last bout.
