WBO lightweight champion Ricky Burns hopes to defend his belt against the unbeaten Puerto Rican Jose Gonzalez on May 11 at the Emirates Arena, Glasgow. It’s also the first fight for Burns under the Matchroom Sport banner, and his first time in action after numerous fight delays, cancellations and other issues.
